TIME
DETAILS
10 am
Forest Bathing Walk with April McLellan. The guided walks are slower and more deliberate than a typical hike. You are led by a guide through practices known as ‘invitations’, that will engage all your senses – sound, sight, touch, taste, smell and more!
11 am
Edible and Poisonous Berries walk with Lori Beckerton. Limited to 15 participants. We will take a slow walk to the Beaver Pond.
1 pm
Value of Wetlands with Fred Pinto
2 pm
Edible and Poisonous Berries walk with Lori Beckerton. Limited to 15 participants. We will take a slow walk to the Beaver Pond.
3 pm
SOUNDwalk with NAISA Artistic Director Darren Copeland – you will walk very slowly and quietly and direct your focus to your listening (rather than to your visual sense) and not talk or use any devices. With that change of focus, sounds commonly heard might take on a different quality.  All ages welcome.
On your own
Pick up a chart at the Nipissing Naturalists Club’s table to learn to bird by ear.
